Last Saturday I hit 32 weeks and totally forgot to blog about it. We've been extremely busy painting, getting the carpet install scheduled, ordering baby furniture (all of it has arrived), and talking about baby showers that it escaped my brain. But I have an official excuse, brain cell volume diminishes in the 3rd trimester. So i can't really help it that I'm forgetful.
Yesterday we had another ultrasound and enjoyed seeing AnnaBeth again! However, I was told I have an anterior placenta and because of that, she tends to have her face buried in it which makes it difficult to get good pictures of her. But other than that (which is really only unfortunate for us) everything is looking just dandy! She's about 4lbs 9oz and measuring right on target. She was even practicing her breathing the whole time which was really neat to see. And she was quite active during this ultrasound, compared to the last one, which made things more difficult for the tech to measure and check. I guess our little girl is feisty already! I asked the tech how much weight AnnaBeth is expected to gain over the next 7 weeks and she told me a 1/2 pound a week. Doing the math on that would put her at about 8lbs 4oz at birth. I should have asked how much more her head will grow, its already 8cm, but thanks to less brain cells, I forgot to ask!

I hate to say that once those brain cells disappear in the 3rd trimester...you never get them back :-) Your belly is so cute! Get some sleep while you can honey...7 weeks will go buy in a flash!
I am so happy to hear that everything is going well and your baby is growing and healthy!
Yay! Your belly is so cute, I can't believe it has a 4 1/2 pound baby in there! Hope you're feeling good, she'll be here so soon! :)
