AnnaBeth had her two month check up a couple of weeks ago and weighed 10.6 pounds and was 22 inches long. She's only in the 25% for each of those but she is gaining weight and growing at a steady pace so there's nothing to worry about. She also got her shots and thankfully she didn't cry for very long. I brought up her standing, arching and screaming during burping and her doctor said it sounded like reflux so she prescribed some zantac for her. So far it seems to working for her for the most part. There are still days that she has very difficult feedings which may be partly my fault. I think that maybe dairy is causing her the problems so I'm going to have to cut it out of my diet (well, I'll try really hard to) to see if it helps. Her doctor also said to try soy formula (we give it to her at bedtime) to see if there's any improvement. On top of the reflux, she also has ezcema. Its mostly on her belly and I now have Cetaphil soap (I cheated and bought the cheaper Walmart brand) and Vanicream moisturizer (Costco sells it, I just had to get it from behind the pharmacy counter). I just got them after confirming the ezcema with the doctor today so we haven't tried the soap yet but I put some of the moisturizer on her tummy and its already made a huge difference!! Other than those two little things, our little girl is super happy and growing fast!! She's found both hands and likes to chew/suck (sometimes VERY loudly!) on them. She's doing wonderfully with tummy time. She often scrunches herself up and rocks and almost rolls over but her arm gets in the way. She also manages to scoot forward (and sometimes backwards) and slowly rotate herself during her tummy time. She jabbers ALL the time and even tries to laugh.
Snuggling with Daddy one evening
Isn't this the cutest thing??
Tummy Time at 9 weeks
I have another video of her tummy time but the file is too big :( oh well, one is better than none!
