2 year check up

AnnaBeth had her 2 year check up today. She is 34 inches (50%), 25 pounds (25%) and her head circumference is 18.75 inches (50%). She can count to 12 (sometimes closer to 16), knows about 9 colors and is apparently way ahead of the game because she can draw circles (her doctor said that's a 4 year old thing). She is speaking well and is a typical 2 year old when it comes to eating (picky, picky!) but her doctor is super pleased that pretty much all she eats are very healthy foods. I have the child who shoves the french fry out of the way so she can eat cucumber and cantaloupe and then never eats the fry :) She also received her last shot until she is 4 and that was quickly cured by a dum-dum sucker. After the doctor we headed over to Kohl's to spend the Kohl's cash I got yesterday and she picked out a pair of monkey sunglasses as well as a baseball glove that came with a ball. She was one happy girl! She is already starting to get the hang of putting her hand in the glove and understands that the ball goes in the glove. It's a bit big since it's for ages 3 and up and the only problem she may have with it is that it's for a righty. She typically throws with her left hand so this glove will probably really only work to teach her the basics and then we will have to find her a glove designed for a lefty. But for now, she really doesn't care and is happy :)
